An Auction is an act of selling an item to people while buyers placing a minimum amount of money (bids) onto the item you're selling, and the bid will rise according to the demand of the item and a Deal should be made when the desired price is reached.
How to Auction
- State your Starting Price: This is the base value you want your item to sell at, this should be very low compared to the true item value.
- State your Minimum Bid: The minimum amount of money you're allowing other buyers to place onto your item for each raise.
EXAMPLE: Your Starting Price is 100,000g, and your Minimum Bid is 10,000. Each time someone trying to win over your item, they will have to raise by 10,000. So the bid should be as follows: 1st = 110,000, 2nd = 120,000, 3rd = 130,000, vice versa. - A Raise: A raise is when each time someone bid on your item base on your Minimum Bid
- Autowin: This is the term used to state the value you're willing to sell your item IMMEDIATELY, granding this person the chance to IMMEDIATELY win the auction.
- A Due Date: A final date when an auction is officially over is often used to end an auction. The last bidder who remained with the highest bid will win over the item by this date.
- Be truthful to your words. Sometimes the auctioner doesn't get the price they really wanted, but a bidder had officially won the item with a price fair and square, this is when you have to give your item up to the price stated and no dispute should be triggered. So be very careful of what you're auctioning, or you can simply SELL something and state the price if you think auctioning is too crazy for you.
This can be often seen on a marketplace forum for any game. This is for capturing attention purposes. This is simply used to get a topic which had landed at the bottom of the forum due to overflow of posts, and BUMPING IT will simply makes it goes right back to the top.
