Have you changed your screen resolution to 1024x768 and found that your Chat UI window (the one in the lower left hand corner) has moved about 1/3rd of the way up the screen. You've tried everything:
  • change back to 800x600 then changing back to 1024x768,
  • clicking on every part imagineable in a pittiful attempt to move the damn thing
  • the list goes on .. usually ending in frustation

This next part is not for the faint of heart and if you muck around where you don't belong then you can do some serious damage to your computer.

We are going to do some registry editing here to put your Chat UI where it rightfully belongs in the lower left hand corner of the screen.
  1. Click Start -> Run -> enter "regedit" (without the quotes) in the box and click OK
  2. Browse to the following key , click on the little "+"s to expand the tree and replace <account name> with obviously your account name.
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Ntreev\Trickster_GSP\__USERS__\<account name>\CHAT_UI
  3. Once you are on the key you will see the serveral entries on the right hand side of the window called: NewCoord_X, NewCoord_Y, NewOutputDim_X and NewOutputDim_Y ... these controll where your chat UI window is located on the screen.
  4. New_Coord_X should already be set to 0 (zero) and NewCoord_Y will be a value that is NOT (745). Double click on NewCoord_Y, click the decimal radio button and enter 745 in the box then click OK.
  5. You are going to have to do this for every account that is on the computer, So if you have other account names under the _USERS_ key group then repeat the procedure on each of them.
  6. Close Registry Editor because you are done now and restart Trickster, making sure that you are set for 1024x768. Should be all fixed now.

Don't muck around in Registry Editor anymore then this because I will not be responsible for you screwing up your computer, if you can't follow directions then you deserve what you get.

Hope this was helpful to someone else other then me because it took a while to get it figured out and is not posted anywhere else in that I found.
