Recently, I just downloaded this game so im having a little trouble.

While I was on the login screen in the game, when I pressed "connect" my McAfee brought up a pop up to say Allow, or Block. I accidently pressed "block" and now I can't go to the character selection screen.

I checked my McAfee Personal Firewall Plus so I can allow Trickster to have "Full Access" to the internet. I checked the summary in the Firewall Plus and it said, "The Program TricksterClient was blocked. Click here for more information." So I did. It brings me to the "Internet Application" so I can allow it to the internet. But heres the problem... there was no list that had the TricksterClient so I can allow.

So I re-downloaded it, and re-installed it. When I typed in my ID and PW and clicked Connect, it said, "Connection with the Server is Disconnected". Knowing that its still blocked.

I need help, who can find my resolution on allowing Trickster to work again.

P.S. I tried disableing McAfee Firewall, and the Firewall Plus, but then I read that, even when its off, it still would be blocking anything that was blocked before.

Thanks in Advance! biggrin.gif

I don't really recommend McAfee, I've heard from many people that it isn't as good as other free anti-virus programs out there..
But in your current situation, the best I can recommend you to do is just to uninstall McAfee, reinstall Trickster and maybe install McAfee again if you want to after you manage to get into Trickster..

Most anti-virus/firewall programs tend to get stubborn sometimes (example, Norton anti-virus), and the best way to solve it is to uninstall it.

Mcafee is so annoying. ><

My computer uses it right now, but I'll probably switch to Norton or something later~ I'm only using it b/c it was preinstalled onto this new comp.

Anyway~ I can't really help you since I'm so techologically impaired @_@
but I'd probably do what ZombieCat suggested.

@_@ unless there are some experts in this forum that could help...

Oh well, I know my post wasn't very helpful...but consider it one of my trademark cleverly disquised bumps.lol. =3
