I am requesting for the hiring of a few Forum Mods. A great example for their use is to settle disputes and also to keep the forum in order.
A few people around have complained there has been no admin around to deal with their problems and such, and so forth.
-Maybe a Mod can be a temporary and limited source for authority. The benefits of a mod or a few mods is that seeing how you live in Singapore and dealing with eTrickster, most individuals will be posting at the opposite time as you. You need people to be online when you are sleeping, to cover your 'off'-hours. So it is beneficial to try this out.
But also make sure when looking for a mod to find open minded individuals because you don't want any authorative figure to have any bias to an individual even though they are 'right' and true in their own sense.
Well if this appeals to your taste, go forth, and if so, I'll be happy to apply, as I have excellent experience dealing with forum moderation and even forum control using invision boards, but not that much power is needed, only cleaning up posts. I would deal with spamming properly and respect everyone's proper sides and make the best judgement if a conflict such as flame and hate happens. But ofcourse I don't have to be the 'one' or such. I am just trying. I am pretty sure there are some other great canditates out there too, and i'll be happy as long as they are great at their job.
