So, You must be trying to logon to the trickster website but the login page just refreshes. You are still figuring out a proper way to login. That's why u are reading this, right?

1st, make sure u are using INTERNET EXPLORER 6 and not version 7. I havnt tried it on firefox yet but it would be better if u use IE 6 coz u cant set the activex settings in firefox.

Steps:

1. open up ur internet explorer, go to trickster's login page, then go to TOOLS (its on top of the explorer. u should noe where it is unless u are really tard) , and under tools, go to INTERNET OPTIONS.

2. Go the the SECURITY TAB in internet options. By right, it will display the safety level for the internet zone. by default, it should be medium. u cant set it to anything lower than medium coz windows xp SP2's security center doesnt allow u to do so. either way, u cant lower it.

3. Then u click on custom level for the INTERNET safety zone. (just in case u dunnoe, beside internet is local intranet, followed by trusted sites and restricted sites. Just click on the internet logo and click on custom level.) Then there will be another popup for u to set the settings.

4. U reset the settings to LOW at the bottom of the new popup u just brought up by clicking custom level.

5. U enable the automatic prompting of active x controls, PROMPT for signed active x controls, PROMPT for unsigned active x controls, ENABLE run active x controls and plugins, ENABLE script active x controls marked safe for scripting, set ur JAVA permissions to MEDIUM SAFETY. lastly, click ok. doing so will enable running of the active x control u installed from trickster's web.

6. then login to trickster's web using ur email and pass. and there u go! u should be able to login. enjoy ur game!

note: the windows security center actually prevents this kinda active x to run because some webby actually has active x control that can potentially harm your computer. thus, the security zone for internet is medium and they dun allow u to set to anything lower than that. and after u logged into the trickster web, the internet settings will return to medium again (its by default. blame bill gates for that). so u better dun close the window or logout or u need to redo the things again.

and once u logged in, u might wanna use the "no need to login from website after 1st login". u can simply do so by following the steps in this thread.

Note that you are somehow vulnerable to hackers, some virus, spyware or even hacker and keyloggers if you lower your internet security settings. This actually allows some 3 party usage on the other side which you may not know.

What i suggest is for you to get a proxy if you have other IE version.

dude u're right. i nearly forgotten abt the vunerability issue. however, after logging into the page the settings will go back to it's original settings. (u can verify that if u dun believe me).
having an anti virus software is always the best option.

however, if the user did not log onto those webbies that contain maliculous code etc and stay only at trickster's web, everything should be fine because u are only activating the active content that runs at that point of time when u wanted to log in only.

unless u can find another reason to tell me that the trickster's webby is not safe enough for me to disable the settings, it should be quite safe.

is this a common problem that just somtimes happens? Earlier today I logged in fine and was playing, and now Im trying to log in, and the screen just refreshes. I did what your instructions suggested, and still I'm not having any luck.
