A method to make a shortcut on your desktop to launch trickster that does not require you to upload the .js and run.htm:

1. First login to www.tricksteronline.com
2. Then save this file http://www.tricksteronline.com/game/run.aspx.

• This file should be around 908 bytes.
• If it's 60 bytes make sure you're logged in with the same browser you're saving the file.
• It's necessary to do this once to figure out your own id and password number.

3. Open the saved file in a text editor like notepad and search for:

<input type="hidden" id="uid" name="uid" value="number1" />
<input type="hidden" id="key" name="key" value="number2" />

Number 1 and 2 will be your own id and password numbers tied to your account.

4. Now go to your trickster install folder and make a shortcut to splash.exe.
5. Now rightclick on the splash shortcut choose properties and go to the shortcut tab.

• In the line 'Target' you'll see the path to your splash.exe for example "C:\Trickster\splash.exe".

7. After the quotes you add 1 space, then your number1 (login id), a comma and number2 (pass).

It should now look like "C:\Trickster\splash.exe" 646846,798464864656. Now You'll be able to use this to login.

i really dont think im doing any of this right....i login to tricksteronline but when i download the file it never has the text i need to find.

edit: nevermind i did it.

edit 2: ummm, i got all the stuff right but it wont let me accept the file with all the extra numbers at the end of the target.

I don't understand..... i logged on to the site, clicked the link, and the patcher comes up... doesnt save a file, patch files or anything. there must be sumthin wrong with what i am doing, PLease help T-T

Are you logged in at tricksteronline.com? If your not, then log in and save that to anywhere where you can open it with your notepad (My Documents, Desktop etc.) If you are logged in, keep that window open, or log in by clicking on that link, then save it.

xylez, i think you have to login from the trickster site and then go to this page, right click, and then save it.
